Women of National Aviation Academy (NAA) is a community of like-minded females working toward the same goals: to grow and succeed personally and professionally in the aviation maintenance industry.
Women of NAA seek to inspire female students through examples of leadership that show how women have become, and continue to be, successful in a male-dominated industry.
Female students looking for a space to connect, feel supported, and encourage other women are welcomed to attend Women of NAA meetings! There are no fees or dues to join this group—just a desire to grow and succeed.
Meetings will include
- group introductions
- discussions about goals and aspirations
- support, encouragement, and resources
See Hilary Vincent or Sarah Kiepper in Career Services to join the text/email alerts as meeting dates and times are determined.
Interested In Aviation Maintenance Training?
Aviation maintenance professionals are currently in high demand. The 2020 Boeing Pilot & Technician Outlook notes that 739,000 new maintenance technicians will be needed globally over the next 20 years to maintain the world’s fleet.
While women make up less than 3% of the industry’s maintenance professionals, NAA is working to increase that number by offering support services that promote women’s success in the maintenance industry and ultimately help meet the industry’s demand.
If you are ready to begin a hands-on career, know that you will be welcomed and supported at NAA! Request more information below to learn more about our training options and career opportunities.
