Did you know that 60% of students who attend Pinellas County Schools are economically disadvantaged? Each year, Pinellas Education Foundation’s school supply drive ensures that students with the greatest need have the tools to succeed! National Aviation Academy (NAA) proudly participated in this year’s drive.

Collecting, Donating, and Delivering

For weeks leading up to the annual supply drive, Janice Reyes, Vice President of Development, rallied NAA team members to donate supplies at our Tampa Bay campus.

Investing in student’s futures is at the heart of what we do. Knowing that not every family has the financial stability to supply their child with the proper school equipment to succeed, NAA team members made supply and monetary donations to help ensure that local students are equipped with the fundamental tools to thrive in the classroom.

On Friday, August 12, 2022, NAA team members gathered our donations and went to assist at Pinellas Education Foundation’s supply drop-off location at Tropicana Field. Reyes, along with Cindy Lantigua, Ayiende Smith, and Luis Enrique Cosme Torres boarded the supply bus! Joined by the Tampa Bay Ray’s Tom Melodayo, Administrator, Employee Engagement, they helped intake and sort donations during the busiest part of the drive!
