Tampa Bay, Florida – Over two dozen Largo campers took to the skies the week of July 25 as part of the City of Largo’s Drone Camp, held at the Largo Community Center.
It was an honor to sponsor drones for the program, bringing aviation into the hands of young learners, where it has continuously developed, advanced, and thrived.
Largo Drone Camp Teaches Collaboration, Value, New Skills
The program taught campers how to set up, program, and fly drones. While campers had the opportunity to learn a great skill for their future, they also got to do something enjoyable as their summer break came to a close.
“Drones are at the remarkable intersection of flight and technology, offering new possibilities for the aviation industry and our world,” said Liza Robuck, NAA’s Director of Business Research & Development.
A special thank you to Largo Play for the opportunity to help this camp become a reality for 15 new drone enthusiasts!
