In addition to providing quality A&P training, National Aviation Academy (NAA) offers students numerous career services opportunities to directly network with industry professionals and find employment.

One such opportunity was the NAA Career Fair in Tampa Bay on September 23, 2021. NAA Career Fairs are prime environments for students and alumni to connect with industry-leading employers.

The Demand for Skilled Technicians

According to the Boeing 2021 Pilot and Technician Outlook, 626,000 aviation technicians are needed worldwide. The demand for aviation maintenance work was apparent at the event with 40 companies in attendance, including Boeing, Lockheed, and Embraer. As companies look towards recovering from the coronavirus-induced industry downturn, demand for skilled technicians is almost a given.

Many Interviews and Job Offers for Students

The NAA Career Fair in Tampa Bay proved fruitful for many students! Employers conducted 173 interviews during the event, with several more planned afterward. Since the event, corporate attendees have even sent more than 40 job offers.  At every point of training, students should be prepared to navigate networking and interviewing opportunities like our career fairs. NAA’s Career Services

NAA’s Career Services department helps students, recent graduates, and alumni find employment in aviation. Career counseling, resume development, and interviewing tips/techniques are provided to all students.

Additionally, we hold Career Fairs in Tampa Bay and New England each year. Recruiters from commercial airlines, general aviation companies, military/defense contractors, space innovators, manufacturers, MROs (maintenance, repair, and overhaul providers), and parallel industries come directly to you!

This skilled department builds and maintains relationships with industry leaders who recruit from NAA directly. Graduates are eligible for career placement assistance to facilitate current and future job offers or opportunities. We’re excited to work with you as you transition into your first position and grow throughout your career.

If you are an NAA alumnus, you are eligible to join our Alumni Relations Facebook Group for the latest updates on available openings.
