HANDS-ON TRAINING. LIFELONG SKILLS. LIMITLESS OPPORTUNITIES.
Are you the person that ALWAYS gets a phone call or text when someone has car trouble? Do you enjoy working on cars in your spare time, but feel like you’ve outgrown your garage? Does the idea of doing something more with your skills appeal to you? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions: have you ever considered aviation?
Car and automotive technicians are important, but the work of an aircraft maintenance technician is more specialized and offers tremendous benefits! You could be responsible for planes, helicopter, airships, military drones, and more! Boeing’s 2018 Pilot and Technician Outlook has forecasted that nearly 800,000 new aviation mechanics will be needed worldwide by 2037. One could be you! Not all mechanic programs are created equal. What Our Graduates Are Saying
I think a lot of women are intimidated by this kind of work or they see themselves in a, like a cookie cutter role and I hope that more women will get into trades and technical work like this because there’s a demand for it and at the end of the day it feels really good knowing that hopefully I’m helping pave the way for women coming up behind me.
