Students from the Tampa Bay campus visited the USCG Air Station in Clearwater, FL recently. The air station is the largest in the Coast Guard, and supports a variety of missions with both C-130 and H-60 aircraft. An award-winning galley, medical clinic, exchange and housing office that service hundreds of Coast Guard personnel are all located on site.
Interested students were able to discuss military aviation and a rotary aircraft with some of the most skilled professionals in the nation. Enlisted and civilian opportunities are available to certified A&Ps on military bases worldwide.
