NAA, again, has partnered with Operation: Military Matters (OMM), a Pinellas County 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on sending care packages to military service personnel serving the United States abroad. This dedicated group of individuals has been mobilized by OMM’s founder, the impressive, twelve-year-old Graci Tubbs. Students, team members and OMM volunteers were joined by members of the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Department at a packing party for this worthwhile cause on February 26, 2019. Over 100 care packages were boxed, sealed and shipped to troops overseas.

OMM does an amazing job connecting with active duty military, sending necessities and giving thanks to the incredible men and women of our armed forces. Many NAA students, instructors and faculty have previously served, and know firsthand the hardships that our military may face when deployed. It was our sincere privilege to assist with these tokens of thanks, packed with care, to show appreciation for the service and sacrifices of our military.
NAA makes a huge difference for anyone considering a career as an aircraft mechanic. It was a memorable experience to this day. It’s a great decision for anyone willing to work hard.
