Did you know that over 754,000 new maintenance technicians will be needed to meet the demand in aviation by 2037? Boeing’s 2018 Pilot and Technician Outlook has indicated that the demand for skilled technicians outpaces the rate at which positions can currently be filled. NAA Career Fairs are designed to put qualified students and alumni in front of employers who are actively looking to recruit personnel. NAA’s most recent Career Fair took place on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the New England campus in Concord, MA. Industry leaders  were onsite scouting students, conducting interviews and making offers.

The demands of the global aviation industry represent a rare and desirable aspect of field: tangible and continuous job growth. NAA focuses solely on aviation maintenance training to meet the specific need for Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) mechanics in aviation and parallel industries. Students have already received job offers from Boeing, Gulfstream and Bombardier with more to be determined.

It is our pleasure to invite industry partners to campus to partner in meeting the demands in aviation. It is also our mission to keep current with maintenance trends and the skills that our students must be equipped with once they enter the field. Engaging directly with employers is key to this shared goal.

Our next Career Fair will be at NAA’s Tampa Bay campus on Thursday, January 17, 2019. Stay tuned for more details!
