Students, staff and volunteers were lucky enough to close out November’s Veterans celebrations at an Operation: Military Matters (OMM) packing party at NAA’s Tampa Bay campus. The packing party (where 98 care packages were assembled, packed, personalized and shipped!) was hosted on November 30, 2018. Over twenty individuals volunteered their time to help support this worthwhile cause.

Two NAA students were the first to arrive and begin assembling boxes and sorting supplies. NAA team members, additional students and Operation: Military Matters’ own Graci and others joined soon after.

Operation: Military Matters does an amazing job connecting with active duty military, sending necessities their way and giving thanks to the incredible men and women of our armed forces. Many NAA students, instructors and faculty have previously served, and know firsthand the hardships that our military may face when deployed. It was our sincere privilege to offer these tokens of thanks, packed with care, to show appreciation for the service and sacrifices of our military.
