Aviation Maintenance Careers With Draken International

A leader in aviation maintenance education, National Aviation Academy (NAA) is continously seeking partnerships that benefit the critical aviation industry that sustains worldwide travel, industry, and commerce.

In July 2020, Draken International contacted NAA in need of approximately thirty Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) technicians for immediate hire. National Aviation Academy’s Career Services Department assembled candidates and facilitated interviews. Hiring interviews took place over three days, resulting in nineteen offers extended to both current students and graduates.

NAA students gain an understanding of aviation maintenance concepts through structured curriculum, labs, and hands-on experience in classrooms and aircraft hangars.

Draken International is an Aerospace and Defense company who contracts with the United States Military, Department of Defense, and allied militaries. They have the world’s largest fleet of tactical ex-military fighter jets. Being hired on at Draken was a tremendous achievement for NAA students and alumni, some of whom were seeking their first position as a professionally licensed and trained aircraft mechanics.
