On Septemeber 17th of each year, Constitution Day is held to commemorate the signing of the United States Constitution. It is a day to learn more about (and celebrate) the rights and privileges of being an American citizen.

On September 17, 1787, delegates to the Constitutional Convention (a.k.a. the Founding Fathers) met for the last time to sign the document that they had created. Hundreds of years later, Americans observe this important day in our nation’s history.

Constitution Day can be celebrated through various activities. Many individuals also find ways to demonstrate appreciation for the United State of America and the freedom secured through the Constitution.
