Celebrating NAA’s December 2019 Aviation Maintenance Graduation in Tampa Bay!
Graduations are the culmination of the hands-on, technical training that students undergo while at National Aviation Academy (NAA). To celebrate the achievements of our students, NAA—Tampa Bay hosted a graduation ceremony on December 4, 2019, at Largo Central Park in Largo, FL. Family and friends gathered to celebrate with those who completed NAA’s Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT), Aviation Maintenance Professional (AMP), and Advanced Aircraft Systems (AAS) programs.
Awards + Achievements
During the ceremony, students who exhibited outstanding achievements were honored with specialized awards. Multiple students won attendance awards. Team 4 whose members include Pat Duguay, Ed Keegan, Melody Schubert, Jason Perez, Al Kamate, Meghan Caveney, won Top Powerplant Team AND Top Airframe Team. AMP Top Tech was awarded to Daniel Klein and AMT Top Tech went to Joseph Wagener. With the highest GPA of the AMT program, Megan Caveny was named valedictorian.
Graduation is only the beginning. We can’t wait to see how these newly-minted A&P maintenance technicians will use their technical training in the aviation industry, their careers, and beyond!
