What are you looking for in a transfer applicant?
NAA is a limited enrollment school. We require students to interview with an admissions representative, pass an entrance exam and complete an acceptance interview.
I have been in college for some time. Do I still have to submit SAT/ACT scores?
NAA does not require incoming students to submit SAT/ACT scores. However, each prospective student is required to pass an entrance exam.
How heavily do my high school record and standardized test scores weigh in the decision-making process?
Every student is required to meet the same guidelines before being accepted to NAA. You must possess a high school diploma or GED, be 18 years old or older and be able to speak, write and understand English.
My native language is not English. Do I have to take an English proficiency exam?
The FAA requires all students to be able to speak, write and understand the English language.
Are there specific classes that I must take prior to transfer?
NAA does not require students to have completed any previous course work.
Where do incoming students live while attending NAA?
NAA does not offer on-campus housing. However, NAA does offer subleased off-campus housing in New England only. The Student Services Department at NAA can help each student find suitable housing or a roommate if desired. Please visit our housing page for more information.
