INTERNATIONAL FINANCES
Before a U.S. Embassy will grant a visa, you must prove that you will have sufficient money to meet all your expenses while studying in the United States. You must explain the source of your funds and guarantee that you will receive them while at National Aviation Academy.
When you leave your country, you must have enough money to:
- Pay for traveling expenses to NAA
- Pay fees for your first term
- Meet living expenses until more money reaches you
- Pay the return fare to your home
Some students assume, incorrectly, that additional financial assistance or part-time employment will be available. Students on M-1 visa status are NOT allowed to work in the U.S., and for this reason some students find themselves in financial difficulties because they did not arrange for adequate support.
Financial Aid from the United States government is not available for international students; however, there are scholarships available just for international students or particular ethnic groups. Here are some websites for you to explore:

Another opportunity would be to check with your Ministry of Education regarding any assistantships or your local bank for information on student loans.
