Additional Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for a Federal Direct Student Loan, you must:
  • Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) every year. Your FAFSA must be received and processed by the federal processor;
  • Not be in default on a federal student loan;
  • Be maintaining Satisfactory Academic Progress for Financial Aid Recipients
  • Be a US citizen or eligible non-citizen.
