Can I get a taxi?
Yes, though you cannot just hail one on the street. It’s best to call a taxi company to request a pick-up. You can find a listing of all taxi companies by visiting the transportation center.
Are there hotels near campus?
Although there are plenty of hotels around each campus, none of them are within walking distance to the schools. Since all NAA facilities are located in major metropolitan areas, there are several hotels nearby.
What is there to do around campus?
There are plenty of things to do around Boston and Tampa Bay. During any season there are professional sports games, amusement parks, historic tours and beautiful beaches.
Is there public transportation?
The public transportation system around the Tampa Bay campus is limited. Although bus service is available, buses do not run late in the evening. Students who are enrolled in second shift classes could not rely solely on public transportation for their commute. Since our New England campus is positioned outside of the downtown Boston area, only buses reach the campus. Are there any banks are close to campus?
Yes, there are several banks located close to campus. During student orientation, banks are invited on campus to meet with students and parents.
Can I purchase NAA gear?
Yes, we have an online store with many NAA items available. These items can be purchased through an outside vendor. If you’re interested in NAA gear please click here.
What are the campus hours for operation?
The Tampa Bay campus runs from 7:30 AM to 11:30 P.M. Monday – Friday. The New England campus is open from 7:30 AM – 6:00 P.M. Monday – Friday. Saturday hours are subject to change and will be posted prior to the weekend. Both campuses are closed on Sundays and observed holidays.
Do you offer campus tours?
Tours are offered Monday – Saturday except for holidays observed by NAA. Tours and information sessions are given by admissions representatives and instructors. There are also five Open House events per year at each campus location. For information on visiting a campus, please click here. NAA encourages prospective students to attend an open house or call an Admissions Representative to schedule a tour before applying.
Are there any meal plans available?
No, but there are many dining options available around the school. A food truck is present on days when school is in session.
How do I find out if school is canceled?
Students may call their schools main number or visit the NAA Facebook Page for up-to-date information on cancellations in the events of severe weather or other acts of nature.
