GI JOBS – MILITARY FRIENDLY SCHOOLS LIST
National Aviation Academy (NAA) was honored to be one of the 2014 Military Friendly Schools according to G.I. Jobs. NAA is proud to have more than 20% of our student population that served in a military branch. We work hard to accommodate those students and strive to provide the best experience as they earn an education. Our brave men and women of the armed forces work closely with representatives to make the transition to starting a new career. At NAA, we offer specific programming that can be ideally suited for those incoming personnel with previous aviation maintenance experience. Our highly trained Student Finance, Student Resources and Career Services department are trained to assist students as they start, attend and complete the program.
Victory Media, the premier media entity for military personnel transitioning into civilian life, has named National Aviation Academy (NAA) to the coveted Military Friendly Schools ® list. The 2014 Military Friendly Schools ® list honors the top 15 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools in the country that are doing the most to embrace America’s military service members, veterans, and spouses as students and ensure their success on campus.
“Inclusion on the 2014 list of Military Friendly Schools ® shows National Aviation Academy’s commitment to providing a supportive environment for military students,” said Sean Collins, Director for G.I. Jobs and Vice President at Victory Media. “As interest in education grows we’re thrilled to provide the military community with transparent, world-class resources to assist in their search for schools,” said Sean.
We are honored to be among the top group of schools recognized for contributions in helping members of the military move forward with their education. The programs offered at NAA are a good fit for those that are seeking a continuation of their military careers in aviation into the civilian world. Many NAA staff members are also former military. We will continue to work closely with veterans and various benefit programs and visit local bases and offices to spread the word regarding opportunities in continuing education. We cherish the partnerships with the military community that we have established and look forward to the future in meeting the needs of veterans.
