CAREER FAIR and CAR SHOW RESULTS - JANUARY 16-17, 2009: 6225 Ulmerton Road | Clearwater, FL 33760
We had a very special treat at the hangar this year. Cape Air flew their "Fantasy Flyer" in for a little visit. Reflecting the beauty and excitement of Key West while depicting Cape Air's dedication to Florida and the Keys, the Fantasy Flyer illustrates the Conch Republic flag, underwater life, a pirate, treasure, Captain Tony, parrots and more. An airbrush masterpiece by world renowned artist, Jürek, the Fantasy Flyer, a Cessna 402, serves passengers year 'round throughout Cape Air's Florida markets.
Bristow Academy, in conjunction with HFI, flew their Bell 206 BIII JetRanger Helicopter in for a static display on Friday.
Fox 13 News even made an appearance. We were talked about on the 5:00 PM news. Click below to see the news segment.

Jobs with Surprising Pay-
Aircraft Mechanic
A vocational school training program can land you a solid living as an aircraft mechanic. The $40,000 to $80,000 earnings range reflects the specialized training required to perform avionics repair and maintenance. Aircraft mechanics inspect landing gear, instruments, cabin pressurizing systems, aviation electronics, and more.
The Lowdown: The FAA certifies 170 trade schools to train aircraft mechanics in the craft. Most programs take 19 to 24 months to complete, although some schools offer 2- and 4-year degrees in avionics or aviation technology.
