Position: Part-Time Operations Assistant Status: *HIGH PRIORITY* Interviewing for current opening. Responsibilities: Directing front office traffic (phones, students, walk-ins, reception duties), taking payments, outgoing mail, and many other tasks. Requirements: Must be able to work set schedule of 4pm-8pm Mon-Thurs and 8am-3pm on Sat. Must be detail oriented and a pleasure to work with. Organization and attitude are the keys to success in this area. Growth opportunities are available for the right person.
Position: Electronics/Avionics Instructor Status: Interviewing for current openings. Responsibilities: Requires ability to effectively teach basic electronics in a classroom and hands on environment. Teaching avionics students as it relates to the aircraft maintenance technician. Focus areas include: Installing avionics equipment, Integration management, Technical recording, Human factors, etc. Requirements: Graduation from a military or civilian electronic or avionics school. Teaching experience and an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license are preferred, but not required. Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Position: Admissions Representative Status: Interviewing for current opening. Responsibilities: Providing information to prospective students about the exciting and rewarding career in aviation maintenance. Following up with prospective students regarding NAA programs, and qualifying students for acceptance into the academy. Requirements: Admissions or relevant experience preferred. College degree preferred. Must have great attitude and diligent work ethic.
Position: A&P Instructor Status: Accepting Resumes, no current openings. Responsibilities: Teaching aviation maintenance technician students. Responsibility for maintaining compliance with FAA part 147. Requirements: A&P Mechanics with a minimum of 5 years industry experience. Prior teaching experience helpful.
